Blog #5 - Chelsea's MySpace Got Hacked

Editor's Note: We here at the DICF blog were tipped off to a potential Myspace hacking and followed a lead to one Chelsea Gomez, of Indie Night fame, now turned amateur-producer of Dallas Indie Comedy Festival. Our reporter on the scene (me: Joel) did not arrive soon enough to see the crime in action, but was there to console the owner of said Myspace page: Chelsea Gomez. We checked the URL for her Myspace profile and it was indeed gone. In an attempt to assuage her woes, our reporter Joel (me: Joel) offered to perform a Myspace Survey with her so she could begin to rebuild her Online Teenage Queen Dream circa 2007. Miraculously, she produced (not amateurishly) a crumbled sheet of college-ruled notebook paper with a survey recently (2025) filled out. She said she completed it last night. What follows is a transcript of this very real Myspace Survey on Chelsea Gomez, submitted in its uninterrupted, unedited entirety for the first time ever.

Raised by I Love Lucy, Saturday Night Live, and Who’s Line Is It Anyway?, Chelsea Gomez knew early on that her goal in life was to make people laugh. She trained at DCH where she was able to write and perform in multiple sketch shows, die bloody deaths in The Improvised Horror Movie, and meet and perform with lifelong friends. She currently co-produces Hot Dish and is one of the Idiots producing DICF. She’ll likely be found at the Merch Booth with her bestie Hannah or running somewhere with an urgency no one asked for.
